About Our Most Recent Annual (In-Person) Conference:
After canceling the 2020 Annual Conference, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, NAHO held its 2021 Annual Conference October 31, 2021, through November 3, 2021, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the newly-opened Element Hotel.
This annual gathering provided NAHO members, attorneys involved in the practice of administrative law and all who are involved in some aspect of administrative adjudication with training and professional development. It was an opportunity for networking and provided a forum in which to meet and discuss ideas and issues impacting the administrative hearing process.
The Conference delivered an array of educational courses on administrative law, ethics, interrupting and reducing implicit bias, best practices for presiding over hearings, decision writing, evidence, and many more valuable topics.
NAHO prides itself on the quality of its faculty. Instructors included professors who are recognized experts in administrative law, local circuit and appellate judges, attorneys, and experienced administrative adjudicators. The conference also included interactive panel and roundtable discussions led by skilled, knowledgeable administrative hearing officials.
